THE BRAND & APPROACH
Traditional tattoo aftercare is designed for short-term healing and often relies on heavy, occlusive formulas.
Skin & Tones treats tattooed skin as skin — with a skincare-first approach focused on barrier support, hydration, and long-term comfort. Our formulas are designed to be used well beyond the healing phase, as part of a daily ritual that supports the skin and preserves the clarity of the tattoo over time.
Tattooed skin is more sensitive by nature. We prioritize naturally derived, skin-compatible ingredients that work in harmony with the skin barrier rather than overwhelming it.
Our philosophy favors simplicity and effectiveness — avoiding unnecessary additives, masking fragrances, or harsh components that can disrupt sensitive skin.
Skin & Tones was developed in conversation with tattoo professionals and clients who care deeply about skin health beyond the healing phase.
While every artist has their own aftercare preferences, many appreciate Skin & Tones for its minimalist formulations, fragrance-free approach, and focus on long-term skin comfort — making it a natural extension of professional tattoo care.
All Skin & Tones products are thoughtfully formulated and produced in Québec, Canada, in compliance with strict cosmetic safety and quality standards.

THE SYSTEM & VALUE
The two products serve different roles. Le Nettoyant is designed to gently cleanse tattooed skin, particularly during the healing phase.
Le Baume is intended for ongoing hydration and long-term care. While they work best as a system for new tattoos, Le Baume can be used on its own for long-term maintenance.
Le Baume is designed for daily use. With regular application, one jar typically lasts around one month, depending on the size of the tattoo and how often it’s applied.
Le Nettoyant is intended primarily for the healing phase of a new tattoo. One bottle is generally sufficient to cleanse one new tattoo throughout its healing period, though usage may vary based on the size of the tattoo and individual care routine.
RESULTS & LONG-TERM EXPECTATIONS
With consistent use, Skin & Tones supports tattooed skin in a way that’s meant to be felt and seen over time.
In the short term, you can expect skin that feels comfortable, hydrated, and calm—without heaviness or residue.
Long term, maintaining proper hydration and skin balance helps reduce dryness and dullness, allowing tattoos to appear clearer, more even, and well-maintained as the skin ages.
Skin & Tones doesn’t alter the ink itself, but by supporting the skin around it, it helps create the conditions for tattoos to age more gracefully.
SAFETY, SENSITIVITY & FEEL
Yes. Our formulas are developed with sensitive and tattooed skin in mind.
We avoid harsh ingredients, unnecessary additives, and masking fragrances that can trigger irritation.
Yes. Skin & Tones products are fragrance-free and contain no added perfumes.
Any subtle scent comes naturally from the ingredients themselves and dissipates quickly.
Le Baume has a rich, velvety texture that melts into the skin.
Because of its nourishing formula, it takes a moment to fully absorb, settling into the skin without leaving a sticky or heavy finish.
Skin & Tones is designed to support the skin — not interfere with the tattoo.
By maintaining hydration and skin comfort, tattoos remain visually clear and well-defined over time.
WHO IT’S FOR & HOW TO USE
Skin & Tones is designed for tattooed skin at every stage. While healing is the beginning, tattooed skin continues to evolve long after that phase ends.
Our products are formulated to support both freshly tattooed skin and tattoos that have been healed for years, with a focus on long-term balance and care.
Skin & Tones is designed to support tattooed skin from the very beginning of the healing process.
Le Nettoyant can be used immediately after your artist’s bandage is removed, once cleansing is recommended. It gently cleanses the skin without disrupting the healing process.
Le Baume is best introduced after the first 48 hours, once the skin has begun its initial healing phase. From that point on, it can be used to support hydration, comfort, and ongoing skin balance—both during healing and long after the tattoo has fully healed.
Always follow your tattoo artist’s specific aftercare instructions.
Yes. Le Baume is designed for daily use on healed tattoos and older pieces.
Its lightweight formulation supports tattooed skin as it ages, helping maintain balance and comfort without heaviness. It fits naturally into long-term care, not just the healing phase.
Le Nettoyant is primarily designed for the healing phase, when tattooed skin is most sensitive.
Some customers choose to continue using it beyond healing, but it is not required for long-term care.
